We are a
co-educational primary school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in
a semi-rural setting, providing quality education since 1931. Rochedale State School is
the school of choice for many students who reside outside of our catchment and
travel from many different suburbs to attend our school. Due to this strong
enrolment demand, our school has reached its population capacity of 950
students and has a long waiting list for out of catchment student entry. Parents
take an active part in the life of the school through the P&C Association
and School Council.
We provide a diverse range of academic, cultural, music, sporting and social program opportunities for our students. Our school has a digital focus with computer spaces in each classroom in addition to a computer lab facility. At Rochedale we constantly aim to embrace new and innovative practices within our curriculum, teaching and learning. Our programs are of high quality and our enthusiastic and experienced staff are committed to the well-being and development of the potential of every child.
