Transition - Ready 4 Rochedale
Prep 2025
Enrolments for Prep 2025 are now open to children born between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020. Children must be 5 by 30 June in the year they enrol. As an enrolment managed state school, applications will only be accepted if the student resides in catchment. Siblings of currently enrolled students who will still be in attendance in 2025 also qualify as 'in catchment'.

'Ready 4 Rochedale' – Orientation visits – Term 4
Starting school is an exciting milestone and the beginning of building children's educational partnerships. Research tells us supporting children to positively transition to school helps foster their enthusiasm for lifelong learning. We are pleased to be able to offer our prep transition program again this year and look forward to our students enjoying the new activities. Over 3 orientation school visits, our 'Ready 4 Rochedale' prep transition program will:
- Assist pre-preps in making a successful transition to the school environment
- Provide opportunities for the children to participate in classroom activities
- Provide opportunities for children to practice skills necessary for school
- Encourage new friendships
- Provide information and support for parents /carers.
We are offering a series of three orientations visits which will be held in Term 4 on a Friday. Two timeslots will be offered. - 9.15am - 10.15am
- 11.15am- 12.15pm
The program is structured to provide both students and parents an opportunity to become familiar with our school. Our 'Ready 4 Rochedale' program is outlined below:

Register for Ready 4 Rochedale
Download the RSS Transition registration form and return to enrolments@rochedalss.eq.edu.au. An email will be sent to Parents/carers in term 3 to nominate a preferred session allocation. All families are encouraged to take advantage of our 'Ready 4 Rochedale' transition program.
Participation in Ready 4 Rochedale incurs a $30 fee which funds the resources used to support the program.
